Its been sometime since I last wrote; lately since I had a flu and some more insomnia and night-terrors and resultant bizzarre ideation...picked a good book up to help with my dreaming analysis: The Complete Book of Dreams by Julia and Derek Parker, I have it found useful and have also tried to 'lucid dream' more often, a mnemonic practice at controlling outcomes while dreaming by recognizing that you are dreaming, usually by looking at your hands in the dreamstate and becoming aware...heck...I have even had sex in my dreams and lept tall buildings in a single bound etc., etc...lol.
My cat Heather is slumbering next to me and I am listening to classic rock by Boston and drinking ice water, the night is waxing towards dawn and it is 4 a.m. I have been on Facebook a lot, playing Mafiawars which I find to be addictive and fun...I had a five hour nap 'til midnight (or thereabouts) and have gotten my second wind.
I did a lot of pottery today, selling two platters for $55 each...tripod-legged, Tree of Heaven impressed on both sides and low-fired in green glaze with washed out 'negative space' and an overglaze (which I will post on this site later in the day)...I completed another piggy bank for an art trade too and threw three more, and a large bowl as well...I have a lot of catch-up to do on promises before the term is over at the PCA (in about five weeks). Anyway take care and have a great life...next Wednesday, if any have read: "An Epiphany" on the third page of my journal, I will find out how long I was dead, from my Doctor, when I woke up replete with toetag in the morgue 29 years ago, half my life really!
